A Chat with A Blind Lady March 23, 2009
A blind lady was standing
On a train in a trip to town
Holding a stick with her right hand
I came with curiosity
Asking her whether her dream is as fanciful as a TV scene
This is what she said
Dear young lady,
My dream may not come in colors
But I won’t let the darkness takes my dream away
I was confused with her words
With some wrinkles on my forehead
With an open space on my mouth
Soon I caught the hidden meaning
Found myself smiling, admiring on how this strong lady lives her life
Thanked her for her words
Dear young lady,
My dream may not come in colors
But I won’t let the darkness takes my dream away
Yeah
I won’t let anyone
I won’t let anything
Takes my dream away
=)
Disclaimer:
This is just a fictional story. Indeed, this writing was inspired from my meeting with a blind lady on a train yesterday. However, I did not have the chance to talk to her as the train was crowded. Heehee =P
The Darkest Hour March 21, 2009
A jiayou for everyone 🙂
Sometimes, a problem lies in front of you
Sometimes, it takes more than an instant to work on
You work your way until the night falls and
The proud grey moon smiles arrogantly at you
When the cold wind creeps into your bones
Remember this, my friend
Don’t you stop toiling through the night
For the darkest hour is just before dawn
Sometimes, things aren’t as easy as it seems
Sometimes, you feel what you’ve done doesn’t make things better
Like you’re trapped in a narrow dark tunnel
Walking endlessly, hoping for a way out
When you can’t see the end of the tunnel
Remember this, my friend
Don’t you stop toiling through the night
For the darkest hour is just before dawn
You’ve gone so far
You’ve fought so hard
Why would you give up?
Why would you quit the game?
Don’t you stop toiling through the night
For the darkest hour is just before dawn
Banananana =P
I came up with a silly song (yeah, kinda talented to be a songwriter =P) while I was staring at the little monkey in this photo.
I want banananana
I want banananana
I want banananana
That I can eat
I want banananana
I want banananana
I want banananana
For my next meal
LOL!
Move On March 17, 2009
I am writing this for a friend who has been sad about a broken relationship. Cheer up, my friend!
It’s time to move on
I’ve learned my lesson
I’ve learned from my mistakes
Your smile is always the sweetest
You are no longer mine
It’s a sad truth
A sad moment, indeed
It’s time to move on
I gotta be strong
Be a better person
Life won’t be the same without you
I will treasure every moment with you
And smile over it someday
It’s time to move on
Life will be better
Yes, it will be better
This is not the end
Stop March 6, 2009
It was Monday morning, 2nd March 2009, in Nanyang Technological University. A professor was rushed to a hospital due to stabbing injuries. A boy called David was found dead on the ground. The media has speculated some stories since then. Yet, nobody knows the real truth. But, have you ever imagined how David would feel to see false stories about him in newspapers and TV stations?
Stop
The world tells a story that I never hear
In just one instance. Bam.
I am shut in a room without a door
Without a chance to speak up.
Would you believe me if I tell you the truth?
Would you stand on my side and fight all the lies?
Open up your heart
And you will find the answer in a whisper.
The clock keeps ticking and day changes to night.
The story goes on. Damn.
I am trapped behind a thick glass wall that
Nobody can hear my voice.
Would you believe me if I tell you the truth?
Would you tell the whole world to stop this madness?
Open up your heart
And you will find the answer in a whisper.
I am waiting for
The world to
Stop.
